"we have improved the security of our office and provided a more secure working area for our staff. Staff no longer have to worry about forgetting keys or cards, and we can be confident that only authorised staff can gain access to secure areas. "Stealth Intelligence
BioTime is an easy to use biometric time and attendance and access control system. With an intuitive and user-friendly interface, BioTime enables you to easily manage employees and control physical security. BioTime is ideal for businesses of any size. Small and medium-sized businesses will benefit from the efficiency, ease of installation and operation. For larger businesses and other enterprises BioTime provides centrally management of attendance information from regional offices and branches.
Flexible and convenient reporting system
The flexible reporting system enables company executives or department managers to receive a complete report on time worked for a certain period by pressing just one button, as well as the number of absences and late arrivals.
The reports may include information on a specific employee, department or the company as a whole.
Support for a large branch network
The biometric system BioTime Enterprise supports the structure of companies with a large number of branch offices. It is not important which city the offices of your Bank, stores of a retail chain or the restaurants of your company are located in, at any time you can find out from the head office which employees of the remote office are at their workplaces, who was late, and who left early from their workplace. BioTime Remote Servers installed in the branch offices synchronize at a given time with the central server so that the company's management receives precise and accurate data for analyzing the effectiveness of the work of the company's staff.
Easy integration with other corporate systems Using the BSDK developer kit, biometric access control can be integrated with any other corporate software products (ERP, CRM systems) which your company already uses.
Advantages to using biometric access control
- BioTime access control significantly increases the security of your business premises
- Collects information about an employee’s presence in the office
- Supports easy creation of schedules and physical access rules
- Generates comprehensive reports based on a variety of criteria
- Allows discrete control of employee access to secure or restricted areas and checkpoints
- Create and manage areas, checkpoints, access schedules and rules enabling complete customisation of access for an individual employee, department or for the entire company
- Makes it easy to keep track of employee movements across company offices from a central server
Access control systems are in use by many sizes and types of business. Typical examples: - a food production facility may implement access control to restrict access to production areas
- banks can use access control to ensure only bank employees can access staff only areas
- any business that holds stock can make use of access control to reduce theft from stock rooms
- fitness clubs make great use of access control to ensure only paid members can access their facilities
Why biometrics? To answer this question, firstly let's look at what are biometrics. Biometrics are a method of recognizing a person based on physiological or behavioural characteristics. Types of biometrics that can be measured are fingerprint, vein, iris, retina, voice, face etc. We currently specialise in working with fingerprint biometric solutions. Now, biometric technology has been around for many years, however modern advances in this technology, along with big reductions in costs, makes biometrics readily available and affordable to SMEs, large enterprises and the public sector. Fingerprint AuthenticationOne of the great things about fingerprint biometrics, is that humans already have built-in, easily accessible, identity cards. You have something unique, which represents you alone, literally at your fingertips. Advantages over other systemsBiometrics have many key advantages over other systems (such as swipe cards or key-fob systems). The biggest advantage with biometric systems is that they identify you for 'who you are', rather than 'what you have' (swipe card or key-fob), or 'what you know' (PIN code). Other key advantages: - Physical attributes are very hard to fake compared to identity cards
- You cannot guess someone's fingerprint like you can guess a password
- You cannot lose your fingerprint
- You cannot forget your fingerprint
- Employees cannot swap fingerprints (eliminates 'buddy punching')
- You have plenty of readily available backups!

The 2 main types of door locks that we provide are electromagnetic locks and electric strike locks.
|
Electromagnetic Door Lock
|
| This is the most popular and easiest type of door lock to install. Electromagnetic locks are surface mounted, requiring minimal work to install, and can even be fitted to frameless glass doors via Z or L brackets. We can even provide electromagnetic locks for double (dual) swing doors. |
|
Electric Strike Door Lock
|
| The electric strike lock requires much more work to install, but provides for a much less obvious finish, as it simply replaces the latch of your traditional nightlatch lock. |
